What are the Canadian Printing Awards?
The Canadian Printing Awards is a program aimed at recognizing the achievements of Canadian graphic communications companies. It is an initiative of PrintAction Magazine, the industry's leading publication in communicating the latest in news, trends and technologies. The program was initially started as the Environmental Printing Awards in 2006 before adopting a wider mandate.
Who can enter?
Entries for the Quality Printing categories of the Canadian Printing Awards may be submitted by printing companies, binderies, agencies, graphic designers, brand owners or students. To be eligible the products must have been produced in Canada between September 1, 2012 and September 1, 2013.
For the Environmental Award categories, there are awards for printing companies and suppliers to the printing industry. Again, the companies must be based in Canada or be represented in Canada to qualify. Emphasis will be placed on initiatives implemented within the last 12 months.
Is my company too small to enter?
Company size has no bearing on the opportunity to win. The quality printing awards are judged primarily on the quality of the printing and finishing, exceptional print challenges and innovation. The
environmental awards take into consideration the scale of the operations and are judged based on the progress and impact the printing company or vendor has made based on their environmental
What is the entry deadline?
Entries must be received by PrintAction by November 1, 2013 at 5pm.
What is the cost of entry?
Single entry cost is CAD $110 ($97.35 + $12.65 HST). There are discounts for multiple entries and those prices are detailed on the entry forms.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Payment can be sent via cheque or credit card (VISA, MasterCard).
Cheques should be made out to Annex Publishing & Printing.

Will my company be notified if we win?
Award finalists will be notified by early November via e-mail, and the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be presented at the Canadian Printing Awards Gala/Dinner on Thursday, November 21, at the Toronto International Centre.
