Celebrating its 70th-year in business, Waterloo Printing increases its production strength with a new HP Indigo 7000 press, along with HP’s recently introduced SmartStream Director for managing and building online applications.
Known as one of the higher-end commercial printers operating out of the Kitchener-Waterloo region, Waterloo Printing first ventured into toner-based (digital) printing five years ago with an HP Indigo 3050.
“The HP Indigo 7000 provides us with the high-quality ink output to meet the needs of our customers,” stated President Mike Litwiller, in a press release.
Waterloo Printing also runs two Heidelberg SM 74 presses, a 4-colour and a 5-colour with aqueous coating – in addition to some smaller offset machines and a range of finishing technologies. The company has been a family-run operation since its inception in 1930.
