Presstek has announced it has named Joe Demharter, former President of Pitman, to lead the sales efforts of the company in the United States and Canada. Demharter will report to Jeff Jacobson, Presstek Chairman, President and CEO.
"Joe Demharter is one of the most respected leaders in the graphic arts industry," said Jacobson in a release. "During his eight years as President of Pitman, the largest distributor of pre-press equipment and supplies in North America, he led the company through a period of dramatic sales growth. During his 38 years in the graphic arts business, he has earned an enviable reputation for his industry knowledge, sales leadership and customer focus. We are excited that he has elected to join our management team and are confident that he will make a significant and positive impact."
Mark Levin, Presdient of the Americas Region, will be departing from Presstek to pursue other opportunities. "Mark Levin is a talented, hard working and widely respected executive, and we appreciate his contributions to Presstek over the past few years," said Jacobson.
