Robinson Named Managing Director of Agfa Canada |

 Lawrence Robinson has been promoted to the top Canadian post for Agfa Graphics, following the appointment of Ruben Silva as VP of Sales and Service for the company's North American operations.
Robinson joined Agfa Canada in mid-2010 as a District Business Manager, responsible for sales management of Agfa's prepress solutions and the :Dotrix Modular inkjet press.
He began his career with Pickering-based Web Offset Publications before joining nearby Thorn Press Ltd., a commercial printer subsequently purchased by St. Joseph Printing.
After leaving Thorn, Robinson was involved with various research-and-development projects with companies like Rock-Tenn, RR Donnelley and Smurfit-Stone. Robinson also held management positions with Heidelberg Canada and KBA North America, where he served as VP of Sales and Marketing.
"Lawrence is a seasoned leader with many years of hands-on industry experience," said Silva. "I am confident Lawrence will be able to effectively manage the Canadian sales force and expand Agfa's presence in Canada."
