GMG Americas signed an agreement for Access Imaging to become a dealer of GMG products throughout Canada. Focusing on the large-format space since 1993, Access Imaging’s new distribution agreement is centred on ProductionSuite software, which GMG describes as a complete production solution for wide-format printing.
"We are looking forward to representing GMG solutions throughout Canada," stated John Visentin, President of Access Imaging. “In recent years, colour management has become a much more significant issue facing large format print facilities – particularly those with more than one printing device. ProductionSuite is the first completely integrated workflow solution for wide format printing, containing everything including preflighting, file prep, RIPping, and cutting, along with world-class GMG colour management tools. It will be very well received by our customers.”
Headquartered in Toronto, Access Imaging also has representatives in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver to distribute a range of technologies applied in large-format production, including desktop computers, colour management systems and spectrophotometers, and finishing equipment. Access Imaging is largely focused on the service and distribution of Hewlett Packard inkjet devices, employing factory-trained specialists. GMG ProductionSuite itself supports over 800 output devices.
“[Access Imaging has] nearly two decades of large format experience in Canada. Not only do they understand the needs of the market, they also have an exceptional service team that will get the most out of ProductionSuite,” stated Joseph Varone, GMG Americas Vice President of Sales. “We look forward to a long, rewarding partnership with them.”
