The estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates for new and existing customers. The estimator is required to understand the customers requirements and the cost of meeting those requirements as it relates to production processes. This position requires tact, sensitivity, professionalism and exceptional customer service skills with a positive upbeat attitude. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare estimates for all incoming pricing inquiries from clients based on their specifications (via phone, fax, e-mail) Price all work using company standards Organize workflow to ensure deadlines are met Field all incoming general inquiry calls Guarantee satisfaction and value for our customers Liaise between client and production staff to ensure smooth job expedition back to our clients Co-ordinate some outsource work with proper paperwork Maintain up to date A-Z file of all correspondence with clients Take responsibility for all pricing and update the appropriate collateral Abide by all company rules and regulations, including those set forth in the Personnel Handbook Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety Act requirements Qualifications and Other requirements: College or University training in related field. 2 + years of working experience in a print estimating environment Strong Computer skills Excellent communication skills Other Details: Looking for an organized and driven individual with an upbeat and positive attitude, as well as knowledge of the bindery process.
