When we disclose information
PrintAction does not sell or rent individual email addresses, telephone numbers or fax numbers to third parties. You may, however, opt-in to receiving third-party information via email. In other words, we may extend email offers to users or subscribers on behalf of our business partners about a particular product or service that may be of interest to you, but only if you have indicated that you would like to receive those offers. If you wish to receive such offers, we do not share or disclose your name or email address to those business partners, but will send you the information or offers on their behalf. As a result, although PrintAction may receive a fee from our business partners for this service, PrintAction sends all the offers so that your personal information is never shared with any outside third party. Of course, you may opt out of receiving these offers at any time.
Offline and online contact information is handled differently. As is customary in the publications business, we may occasionally rent our offline mailing list to select third parties whose products and services may be of interest to you. We honour all requests to be excluded from this list.
When PrintAction works with other companies to help us provide products and services to you, we may provide your personal information to these companies. For example, we give shipping companies this information so they can deliver your products efficiently. The information they receive is for shipping and delivery purposes only, and we require that the companies safeguard your personal information in accordance with policies.
We share anonymous, aggregate demographic information (such as job title, number of employees, company profiles, etc.), and anonymous information obtained from cookies and similar technologies, with our advertisers, sponsors, promotional and business partners, and with participating vendors at sites offering online sales opportunities. No personally identifiable information is disclosed to any of these third parties in providing these reports. Credit card numbers, and passwords are not shared with advertisers, sponsors or promotional partners, and are only shared with specific vendors with whom you place an online order. PrintAction uses Paymentech for payment processing.
How we protect your information
PrintAction safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you are using a secure browser. All information you provide during website transactions is stored in a secure database.
Collecting other personal information
When you browse PrintAction's website, you are able to do so anonymously. Generally, we do not collect personal information when you browse - not even your email address. Your browser, however, does automatically tell us the type of computer and operating system that you are using. In certain circumstances we may collect information from you to view sections on our website.
