Bridget Jones Production Fault Leads to Recall

A production mistake has led to some copies of the latest Bridget Jones novel in the UK to be recalled.

According to The London Evening Standard, the latest Helen Fielding book, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, has suffered from a “printing error" which lead to some 40 pages of the novel to be replaced with pages from an autobiography of British actor David Jason.

Vintage Books, an imprint of the recently merged Penguin Random House, the publisher of the novel, says that it was a small print error, but won’t disclose how many copies were affected.

The Bridget Jones franchise, consisting of three novels (including the latest) and two silver screen adaptations, has proven to be a popular one, with the first novel alone selling over two million copies worldwide.
