Agfa has named Brian Paradis to become Business Manager for Central (Ontario) and Western Region Sales. Paradis had been Agfa Canada’s Western Region Business Manager for the last 7 years, and prior to that spent 17 years in the commercial printing industry in Canada. This expanded role now includes oversight of both the Ontario and Western Canadian market for Agfa Canada’s graphics and inkjet sales team.
“Agfa is coming off a good year in 2010 despite a down market; in large part due to our continued success with chem-free and low-chem plate technologies,” says Paradis. “When I consider that, as well as the fact that our Canadian made Jeti Wide Format Inkjet manufacturing facility in Toronto is now fully ramped up, I’m really looking forward to working with our customer base and sales team in Ontario this year.”
