Aleyant and Ultimate TechnoGraphics will jointly present their solutions to deliver what they say will be a unique end-to-end print workflow automation solution at booth 752 at the SGIA show in Las Vegas.
With PrintJobManager, Aleyant’s estimating, pricing and production management solution, a print service provider (PSP) will be able to price a product from material, equipment and labour costs, which the company explains will be enabling pricing to be controlled in one location to provide instant pricing for orders whether through an online store or via mobile device. Pricing information is then pushed automatically to Pressero, online storefront solution to update pricing for the storefront items in real time.
Within Pressero, PSPs can sell off-the-shelf and custom items through either the built-in eDocBuilder online design templates or customer supplied artwork. tFLOW, Aleyant’s automated prepress, approval and collaboration workflow solution, can auto-receive files through Pressero then send them directly to Ultimate Impostrip.
“Adding Ultimate Impostrip Automation to the mix enables an additional layer of automation, automatically imposing, nesting and generating the cut file for finishing,” says Ray Duval, Director of Solution Sales. “Rules-based automation provided by Ultimate Impostrip gives users full control over page position, variable gutters, bleeds, page-spread, page scaling, sets of marks, and barcodes or banner sheets by following an easy and user-friendly ticketing process.”
Ultimate Impostrip Automation is composed of several advanced tools. From customizable banner content for tracking and positioning over-imposed gang run sheets to flexible marks profiles defining the position of each mark and barcode, the added features aim to deliver a dynamic workflow, the companies explain. Ultimate Impostrip new PDF repository folder, connected to Pressero, allows for placing PDF files referenced in XML in one single repository. As well, Ultimate Impostrip imposition-controlled XML schema supports free-form ganging templates for ganging jobs of varied types onto one press sheet.
