Anvy Digital reports increased revenue with Inca SpyderX

December 4, 2019  By PrintAction Staff

Anvy Digital, a Calgary, Alta.-based large-format specialty printer, says it is experiencing increased revenue with the Inca SpyderX, a wide-format UV digital inkjet flatbed printer distributed exclusively throughout North America by Fujifilm.

The company installed the SpyderX at the end of 2018.

“The SpyderX allows more capacity,” says Bob Lush, Vice President of Sales, Anvy Digital. “We are very pleased with the quality and the speed we are able to achieve on this press. Our clients are extremely impressed with the output.”

With a 126-inch (3.2-m) width capacity, six-colour plus optional white, SpyderX is available as either flatbed or a combination flatbed/roll-to-roll system for handling rigid and flexible substrates to produce a variety of output at speeds up to 2,476 square feet per hour (230 square meters per hour). Featuring Fujifilm Uvijet XK ink, and Fujifilm Dimatix printheads, the printer boasts high-speed production with sharp, pinpoint accuracy while handling a range of media and applications.

“We’ve had success with the Onset Q40i flatbed press for many years, and with regard to Inca’s trusted technology, we knew the SpyderX would provide high quality and consistent output from the first sheet to the last,” says John Phan, President, Anvy Digital. “We wanted a true flatbed as a complimentary addition to our existing Onset Q40i, and the SpyderX is the perfect balance of speed and quality. The addition of white ink on the SpyderX allows us to expand capacity and applications, offering our client base many more options.”

Founded in 2002, Anvy Digital’s offerings include output for clients that include indoor and outdoor signage for retail and corporate installations, as well as decals, murals, hanging décor, short-term signage, site signage, banners, flags, and tradeshow marketing.
