Each fall since being awarded the interior and exterior ad program contract at Edmonton International Airport (EIA) in 2016, Pattison Outdoor Advertising has spearheaded a series of Lexus Canada mesh banner wraps that cover the majority of the North- and East-facing sides of the original EIA air traffic control tower, reaching Lexus’ key audience of business and leisure travellers.

With 7.8 million passengers passing through annually, Edmonton International Airport is said to be Canada’s fifth busiest airports.

Measuring 558 inches wide by 720 inches tall on the East face, and 1765 inches wide by 720 inches tall on the North face, the tower wrap ads are printed on mesh vinyl so as not to obstruct the view from the interior. The ads are produced in 16-feet (192-inch) panels and finished on all edges with grommets to affix to the existing exterior cladding, requiring a small team of accredited installers. Cowan Graphics explains the removal and replacement typically takes the team two full business days to complete.
