A week after the news that Komcan will begin to represent Komori America in Quebec and Eastern Canada, adding to its existing Komori sales and service agreements in Ontario and Western Canada, the press distributer has made key hires and new service agreements for the region, as well as for its home base in Ontario.

Thierry Barbeau becomes Komcan’s Sales Manager, responsible for the complete product line sold by Komcan, for Eastern Canada. Thierry is an industry veteran who most recently sold Xeikon presses and technologies, and previously worked for both manroland and Heidelberg. “His knowledge and proven track record will be a true asset for us,” said Steve Ranson, President of Komcan.

For electrical and mechanical support, Komcan entered an agreement with Jean-Philippe Arsenault and Alain Page, both well known to current Komori users, to service and support Komori presses in Eastern Canada. For parts and service in Quebec, Marie-Hélène Tardif will be the local contact.

Mihalachi holds extensive customer service experience and a degree focused on Multimedia Studies from the University of Montreal, as well as a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering.
