Nobuhiko Kitajima named Canon Canada Pres/CEO

Canon Canada has announced the appointment of Nobuhiko Kitajima to the position of President and CEO.

Began his career with Canon Inc. in 1981, he has worked for the organization in several regions including Japan, Europe and the United States. In 1986, he joined Canon USA as a regional administrative manager for the Medical Division in Canon’s Western Regional office. He returned to Canon Inc. in 1993 before rejoining Canon USA in 2002, where he went on to hold several senior leadership positions in the Business Imaging Solutions Group’s Large Format Printer Division and the Innovative Business Development Division.

In 2016, he was promoted to Vice President & GM, Marketing, Business Imaging Solutions Group at Canon USA.

Kitajima joined Canon Canada in 2018 as the Executive Vice-President & GM for the Imaging Systems Group and Professional Printing Solutions Group. He succeeds Taizaburo Egawa, who will be leaving Canon Canada and returning to Japan.

Born in San Francisco, Kitajima holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan.

Headquartered in Brampton, Ont., Canon Canada Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon USA, is a provider of consumer, business-to-business and medical digital imaging solutions.
