APTech seeks nominations for Board of Directors

September 4, 2020  By PrintAction Staff

The Association for Print Technologies (APTech) has announced a call for nominations of qualified individuals to serve on its Board of Directors.

“Board members represent the needs of the industry and are instrumental in helping APTech shape the future of print,” according to the association. The board is responsible for governance and leadership of the association’s programs and activities. It is comprised of representatives from all areas of the print industry value chain, including manufacturers, suppliers and print service providers.

Since it opened up membership to print service providers, and included printers on the Board, print service providers have helped provide a more complete view of the state of the industry. In addition, in partnership with manufacturers and supplier Board members, they have helped charter the course for the future of the organization, as well as the industry as a whole.

Nominees must be employed by an APTech member organization. Candidates will be included on a ballot to be distributed by Oct. 23, 2020. An election is set to be held during a membership meeting on Dec. 8, 2020.

Those interested in this opportunity should contact Thayer Long, president of APTech, at tlong@aptech.org for more information, or to express interest in joining the Board.
