Aulward Adds Agfa Anapurna and Kongsberg

With the new Anapurna are (left to right): James Burghgraef, Account Manager, Agfa Graphics; Blaine Prince, President, Aulward Graphics; and Ross de St. Croix, Sales and Business Manager, Aulward Graphics. Aulward Graphics of Hamilton, Ont., has an installed an Anapurna M2540 FB from Agfa Graphics, as well as an Esko Kongsberg table. The Anapurna is a flatbed UV inkjet system designed for printing on rigid substrates. It features a quickchange vacuum bed technology with six colours (CMYKLcLm) plus white ink, jetted from 12-picoliter print heads.
In what is defined as Express Mode, the Anapurna reaches speeds of 45 m2/h (484 sqf/h), while Production Mode hits 26 to 28 m2/h (279 to 301 sqf/h), Poster Mode 15 to 17 m2/h (161 to 182 sqf/h), and 8 m2/h (86 sqf/h).
Tracing its roots back to 1967, Aulward Graphics, built around sheetfed-offset production, provides a range of services in addition to large-format inkjet, such as digital printing, full bindery, fulfillment, design and die-cutting.
