On December 21, Belmont Press of Markham, Ont., completed its acquisition of Hi-Lite Laminations of Mississauga, Ont. Doubling its lamination capacity from two high-speed laminators to four, the machines are now up and running at Belmont’s 50,000-square-foot plant. “Lamination is growing, not shrinking and is one of the only value-added processes that is doing so,” explains Jamie Schaeffer of Belmont Press.
“The investment increases our production capacity substantially. The acquisition of Hi-Lite lamination solidifies us as one of the largest trade laminators in Canada,” explains Jamie Schaeffer of Belmont Press. “Lamination seems to be growing, not shrinking and is one of the only value-added processes that is doing so.”
