Last Thursday the Burke Group of Edmonton, Alta., announced it had acquired Topline Printing in Calgary, Alta. Ian Burke, Owner and CEO of the Burke Group, explains the purchase will allow Burke to further expand into the Alberta marketplace.
“Topline Printing started in 1982 and is now the largest independent offset printer in Calgary. They’ve grown by understanding the needs of their customers and the market, by purchasing the right technology at the right time, and by realizing competitive opportunities,” he says. “They’ve invested in full service mailing, large format, foiling and box-cutting facilities to provide a well-rounded offering for their customers.”

Fernando Peris, Founder of Topline Printing, will retire upon the successful transition to the Burke Group of Companies.
“I had a few options and after careful consideration, I’m excited to pass the baton,” says Peris. “I’m confident that our internal teams and customers will benefit from Burke’s sophistication and business process that makes it easier for customers to get what they need.”
