More than 2,100 guests attended C.J. Graphics’ 32nd annual holiday open house and fundraiser on December 7 at its 240,000-square-foot facility in Mississauga, Ont., helping to raise over $25,000 for C.J.’s Skatepark through the live and silent auctions.

Dubbed the world’s largest not-for-profit air-conditioned indoor skatepark, C.J. Skatepark serves children and youth in the community including those with special needs. Roughly 135 skateboarders and scooter riders were there enjoying the newly opened facility, as open house guests checked out the skatepark in action through the observation deck. President and CEO Jay Mandarino, who served as the live auctioneer during the party, even changed out of his suit to ride a few laps around the skatepark with the kids.

Live machine demonstrations ran throughout the evening, and attendees had the opportunity to take home posters, magnets and laser die-cut template sheets that could be assembled into holiday ornaments without glue or tape.

The open house and fundraiser also served as a benefit event for the Mississauga Food Bank, with guests asked to bring food or cash donations. This year the event raised roughly 3,000 pounds of food and $2,800 in funds.
