Recognized as one of Canada’s leading commercial printing companies, Hemlock Printers Ltd. of Burnaby, BC, has appointed Doug Climie as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Climie brings a range of industry experience to the position, having spent time in sectors such as publishing, printing, manufacturing, distribution and media. He will now lead the local and national sales development for Hemlock, which produces some of the world’s highest-quality and most environmentally sound printing, as recognized through perennial wins in global printing competitions like the Premier Print Awards and Sappi Printer of the Year.
With Climie’s appointment, Dirk Ottevangers takes on a new role at Hemlock as the Director of Business Development and Major Accounts. Ottevangers has spent the past 28 years with Hemlock.
With both offset- and toner-focused divisions run out of its Burnaby location, Hemlock also has sales offices in Victoria, Seattle, San Francisco and Monterey.
