Sun Chemical made its Online Troubleshooting Guide into a mobile-device app available on Google Play and the Apple Store. 

The free app is designed to help customers resolve common technical defects that can happen during a press run, whether running flexography, sheetfed offset, paper packaging, gravure, or energy curable printing systems.

After choosing the printing process, the app uses both photos and defect terms, such as dot gain, pinholes and feathering, to help a printer identify which technical problem they are facing and read a possible solution.
