Delphax signs reseller deal with Quebec’s MD International

Delphax Solutions Inc. (DSI), a digital inkjet press designer and manufacturer, today announced it has signed a reseller agreement with MD International Inc. (MDI) of Quebec.

MDI is the latest company to sign up to DSI’s Sales Partnership Program announced in 2019, and as a result will represent DSI’s Elan family of colour and monochrome inkjet presses in the Quebec marketplace.

“Having MD International represent us in the Quebec market provides a partner who understands production print, migration from offset to digital inkjet production, and the specific requirements of the Quebec marketplace,” says Richard Lee, CEO of Delphax Solutions Inc. “Our products address a number of challenges facing print service providers in the region, and we are looking forward to working with the MDI team to offer our Canadian designed and manufactured solutions to ‘La Belle Province.’”

Driven by Memjet’s VersaPass technology with 1600 x 1375 DPI CMYK printing, sheet sizes from 8 x 8 inches to 18 x 26 inches on a range of weights, with throughput of up to 500 letter impressions per minute, the Elan HD is suitable for both variable and short-run publishing applications. Its Elan platform allows the system to be serviced by either DSI technicians or customers’ own in-house technicians. DSI and MDI will also be offering end-users “No Click” options which, when combined with self-service option flexibility, ensures that the end-user has the most cost-effective offering of any sheetfed inkjet press in this class, the manufacturer explains. DSI’s HD M platform extends this product offering to a 400 impression per minute monochrome platform for short turnaround, high-volume direct mail, personalization and book applications.
