Duplo to Debut DC-646 at PRINT 13

August 20, 2013  By

At the PRINT 13 show this September, Duplo announced it plans to exhibit “its largest range of digital print finishing products yet” which includes the debut of the DC-646 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser.
Set to succeed the DC-645, the new DC-646 performs up to six slits, 25 cuts, and 20 creases in a single pass (compared to six slits, 15 cuts and 10 creases in the DC-645). It also eliminates white borders and, according to Duplo, prevents toner cracking on fold lines up to 30 sheets per minute. The machine also has an optional rotary tool and cross perforating modules. Users, among a series of applications, can create 24-up business cards, slit-score greeting cards, micro-perforated coupons.
The new machine will be shown alongside the company’s DC-745, DC-615 and DC-445 systems, as well as the company’s line of saddle stitchers, die cutters, UV coaters, and perfect binders.
