DuPont’s Artistri Xite P2700 inks designed for roll-to-roll printers

DuPont Image Solutions has announced a new series for its Pigment Inks portfolio, DuPont Artistri Xite P2700.
The product is a digital textile premium pigment ink formulated for mid-viscosity printheads. The ink formulation is ideal for textile printers in home, furnishings and apparel applications.
DuPont collaborated with Creazioni Digitali, based in the Province of Como, Italy, to test and optimize the printing process and quality of the printed fabric.
“We are delighted to deliver brilliant colors with great wet and dry crock without compromising hand feel and the sustainability advantage of water-based pigment ink jet inks,” said Eric Beyeler, global ink jet marketing manager, DuPont Image Solutions.
Key features of the inks include jetting reliability; high colour saturation; better lightfastness for Y; and the ability to printing in CMYK ORBGV (light cmk).
