Jag Printing, an Edmonton, Alta., printing company equipped with both offset and digital sheetfed capabilities, has installed the country’s first Duplo DDC-810 Raised Spot UV Coater from Sydney Stone.

“The Duplo DDC810 is opening many doors in the short time we have had the machine. Jag Printing looks forward to bringing new opportunities to the Printers and print brokers we serve,” says Gord Hentel, Co-owner of Jag Printing.

After viewing the system at Graph Expo, Jag Printing decided to purchase the unit through Canadian Duplo dealer Sydney Stone. The Duplo DDC-810 boasts many features to ensure easy operation and quality of output, including the camera image registration system, a Duplo air suction feeder and quick installation.

“When compared to other like units in the market the DDC-810 is priced at a lower capital cost, has a smaller foot print yet comparable output quality. This makes it attractive for companies looking to get started in the market place for material that is embellished and eye catching. The DDC-810 can be paired with a near-line foiler to provide both Spot UV and foil to create the ultimate finished look,” says Michael Steele from Sydney Stone.
