Ellis Paper Box installs Komori GLX 6

Ellis Paper Box in Mississauga, Ont., installs a new Komori GLX 6 colour 41-in. press with a coater.

The press comes with one of the highest levels of automation and inspection systems available in the market today. Some of those features include PQA-S Sheet Inspection and colour control, PDC-X scanner and a full array of automation, such as logistics for skid movement. The 18,000 sheet per hour press is capable of running up to 40 point board with a fully automatic nonstop feeder & delivery.

Ellis Paper Box is a full-service folding carton company. It focuses on the pharmaceutical market. Founded in 1983 by Bill Ellis, the Ellis Group has grown to be one of the largest privately owned folding carton manufacturers in Canada. This is Ellis’ fourth GLX press, and seventh Komori press.
