
Transcontinental Inc. won Best of Show last night as more than 300 printing professionals gathered in Toronto to celebrate the environmental innovation and achievements of the Canadian printing industry.


Peter Robinson, CEO of the David Suzuki Foundation, provided the keynote at the fifth-annual Environmental Printing Awards gala, hosted by PrintAction magazine. Robinson spoke on the theme of resilience, that businesses must remain resolute in their environmental efforts for long-term success.
Following his speech, 32 awards – Gold, Silver and Bronze – were handed out, including Transcontinental Inc.’s Best of Show Award. HP Canada and Metropolitan Fine Printers won the most awards on a per-company basis, with three each.
