FASTSIGNS Scarborough Buys Designjet

Craig Gibbs has installed a new HP Designjet L26500 inkjet printer into his FASTSIGNS franchise location in Scarborough, Ontario. The six-colour system employs HP’s Latex Ink technology and reaches a top speed of 22.8 m2/hr in 4-pass bidirectional mode, 16.5 m2/hr in 6-pass bidirectional, and 10.6 m2/hr in 8-pass bidirectional.


Gibbs opened his FASTSIGNS location in 2007 and was previously working with an HP Designjet 8000. With the new inkjet system, the print shop is able to further expand its large-format production into textiles, vinyl, film and uncoated materials, as well as higher-grade backlit prints.
