January 12, 2015  By PrintAction Staff

Italian Police, according to Reuters, seized five printing presses and some 50 million Euros in counterfeit bills, primarily in the 50-euro domination, late last week.

The news agency continued to report the unfinished fake banknotes were found inside the warehouse of a sewer company, including behind wood paneling and in drawers built under the pavement, at a location south of Naples. Five men had been ordered by the courts to be arrested in connection with the counterfeiting.

Read Reuters’ full report, including information about last month’s Italian seizure of 556,000 euros in fake euro coins that were minted in China.
