July 24, 2012  By

Marc Fortier becomes President of RP Graphics Group, which is a diverse commercial printing operation – with litho, toner, and inkjet production – located in Mississauga, Ontario. The 34-year-old operation is also highly focused on providing variable-data printing, mailing and bindery services, as well as a range of digital marketing.

“Marc’s operational and marketing expertise is specifically focused on print production, database marketing and direct marketing,” said George Mazzaferro, owner of RP Graphics Group. “These represent key growth segments for our company and we look forward to working with Marc on developing new opportunities in these areas.”

Mazzaferro, as a result of Fortier’s appointment, is moving to the position of Chief Executive Officer at RP Graphics. “Mr. Fortier’s appointment will help our company focus on strategic growth as we work to establish ourselves as a full-service provider in the quickly evolving communications industry,” added Mazzaferro.

Fortier has held several high-profile positions within the Canadian printing industry, including time spent as President of TI Group; Executive VP of Business Development and Digital Services at PLM Group; and GM and Director of Sales and Marketing at Transcontinental Yorkville Printing.

“I am thrilled with the opportunity of working with George to lead RP Graphics to the next level,” said Fortier. “This is a solid company with a broad range of services and an excellent toolkit. George has done a great job staying ahead of the technology curve by consistently integrating new equipment and services.”

At the beginning of 2012, RP Graphics installed a new 40-inch Komori GL-640 press with a H-UV drying system. Among a range of equipment, the company also runs a 6-colour Komori LSX29, two iGen4 presses, and two Inca Sypder 320s for large-format work.
