Fujifilm Canada held a seminar series at its Mississauga facilities this week. Over two days, printers were educated on technical topics such as colour management, inkjet trends and environmental compliance. Printers also got demonstrations on the latest Fujifilm products, especially its new offerings in inkjet.
Dr. Abhay Sharma, Professor with Ryerson University, presented Profit through Colour Management and focused on predictable and repeatable colour management, including G7 certification.
Francois Mitchell, President and CEO of Prisme Technologies, engaged the audience with his delivery of Increasing Business with Web 2 Print, which, according to Mitchell, allows printers more time to sell and meet the transitional demands of the market.
Vince Cahill of VCE Solutions provided insight on Where Inkjet is Heading and John Piggott of Ecosafe presented methods to reduce risk and liabilities when it comes to compliance and environmental issues.
