GMG’s new ColorProof Go allows users to run and manage proof jobs from anywhere, at any time, as the product is platform-independent via a web browser, but can even be used on a smartphone. For users looking to use this service, a software update contract (SUC) offers an advantage, in that the newly-launched product is included in this service.

With ColorProof Go’s browser-based user interface, users can manage and run proof jobs from almost any device. This new release appeals specifically to professional users that are looking for maximum flexibility control and increased productivity. The product is especially convenient given the mobile working and work-from-home trend that many are currently taking advantage of.

GMG ColorProof Go boasts an intuitive user interface. To start a job, users must simply drag and drop the file into the appropriate drop zone. All connected proof systems are controlled and managed via a web browser. Even a device recalibration can be done remotely from any workstation or a smartphone. The ability to check the status of a proof job remotely is reassuring for many users and provides process control.

The flexibility of the program allows proof jobs to be run and managed on every workstation; no need for an operator to walk to the proofing room. New users can be added to the ColorProof Go network via email and their roles can be assigned individually. This allows users to access the same proofing system simultaneously. This flexibility saves time and increases productivity, says GMG.
