October 16, 2012  By

Goss International has appointed Rotaweb to represent Goss products and services in Mexico, focusing on commercial web, packaging and newspaper printers. Heidelberg Mexico previously served as the agent for Goss in the country.

Mauricio Guerra, formerly Sales Manager of web offset sales for Heidelberg Mexico is now heading Rotaweb. He is joined by other former Heidelberg Mexico employees specializing in the web offset sector. Guerra and his team will work in concert with Leonardo Clavijo, Goss International Sales Manager for Mexico.

“The establishment of Rotaweb is a positive step for printers and publishers in Mexico,” explained Clavijo. “Goss International and Heidelberg supported this development because it allows us to focus on delivering specialized products and services while also continuing to cooperate whenever it is in the best interests of our customers.”

Goss reports to have sold more than 30 new Goss web presses in recent years, including Community SSC newspaper presses and M-500, M-600, M-800 and gapless Sunday commercial web presses in formats from 16 to 64 pages.
