A&V to Distribute ThermoFlexX

January 27, 2014  By PrintAction Staff

Anderson & Vreeland has been appointed by Belgium-based Xeikon NV as a distributor of ThermoFlexX imagers that are designed for flexography and letterpress platemaking.

ThermoFlexX models are available in a range of sizes designed for tag, label, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated packaging. The imaging technology allows users to produce digital plates at resolutions from 2,540 to 5,080 dpi.

According to Anderson & Vreeland, benefits of the ThermoFlexX design include ergonomic plate mounting, a hybrid drum (with vacuum or magnetics); a clamping design to mount plates directly to the drum; and uniquely designed vacuum sliders that offer the flexibility to use plates of any width.
