Ottawa-based Canadian Bank Note Company took first place in the annual
Élan Awards, produced by the International
Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA), which is a worldwide competition for card manufacturing and
printing.
The
Élan Awards for Card Manufacturing Excellence are described by the ICMA as “the pinnacle of design innovation and technical achievement” for the sector. The ICMA has 240 global members.
Canadian Bank Note received its first-place finish in the category of Best Government Identification Card for the production of Canada’s Permanent Resident Card.
