Graph Expo Releases Executive Outlook Agenda

August 2, 2011  By

A day before the Graph Expo trade show opens in Chicago on September 11, organizers will hold their 16th-annual conference, called Executive Outlook, to analyze new technologies employed within the North American printing industry.

The day-long, Saturday conference is running under the theme of “Embracing Technology and Market Trends for Profitability,” indicating that organizers aim to blend its traditional look at technology enhancements with key market trends.

“Savvy printers today recognize that you can’t succeed with great technology alone,” said Ralph Nappi, President of GASC, which organizes Graph Expo. “The market forces are changing so quickly these days that you have to constantly be sure that your business is equipped with the right technology to meet market demands.”

Executive Outlook 2011 is to be kicked off with a keynote address about the future of print from Scott Zientarski of DME. Based in Florida, DME is a direct-mail marketing company that grew from a 3-person start-up, in 1983, into a 120,000-square-foot facility that generates around US$100-million in business every year.

The conference will also help attendees prepare for the Graph Expo show floor, which is scheduled to be open from September 11 to 14 at Chicago’s massive McCormick Place. This will include the unveiling of the 2011 MUST SEE ‘EMS exhibits and products.

Executive Outlook 2011 will then conclude with by handing out its Positively Print Awards to recognize printing companies that have successfully promoted the power of print in today’s media mix.
