Insource Holds Open House

Insource Corp. held an open house in its Markham, Ontario, headquarters to highlight new equipment lines and business programs for the Canadian printing industry, while also celebrating the Gold Medal performance of Canadian Olympian Jennifer Wakefield.

Founded nine years ago by Tim Wakefield, Insource supplies and supports technologies primarily aimed at the industrial paper handling, card handling, packaging and fulfillment markets. The company also provides consultation services such as auditing a company’s current practices, processes and technologies.

Attendees of the open house had the opportunity to meet Jennifer Wakefield, daughter of Insource’s Tim and Suzanne Wakefield, who recently helped steer the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team to Olympic Gold in Sochi, Russia.

With staff in Montreal and Vancouver, Insource explains its exclusive vendor partnerships in Canada include Kirk Rudy, W&D, KAS, Petratto, SCS and Astro. During the open house, Insource demonstrated a range of software and hardware it distributes, with insight provided by several manufacturers who also attended the event.

Equipment highlighted during Insource’s open house included new systems from Petratto, with the lead engineer Dirk Stunkel in from Germany, and RISO, with Andre Urbano, National Sales Manager. The event also focused on Astro (MI and M2), Print and Apply (Weber), intelligent camera system on inserter with read-and-print technology, KR497 tipping system with GMS gluer, KR 535 triple web tabber Tabmaster (Kirk Rudy), Flagship iAddress software (with owner Kristi Krantz on hand for demonstrations), and the Digibinder.
