Jared Reck passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on June 29, 2018, at the age of 47.
Born in Mississauga, Ont., he graduated from Humber College on the Dean’s Honour Role with a Certified Engineering Technologist Certification. He owned JR Technical Services Inc., and as Technical Advisor, travelled around the world troubleshooting and working on various printing presses.
His obituary includes the following excerpt:
“Jared loved all sports, as a young man he strived to be a professional goalie, he was a fabulous ball player and he loved playing golf. He was a perfectionist in everything he did and excelled in anything he played. He had an undying love for all mammals and animals in our wonderful world. Jared had also a wonderful sense of humour and was quite the storyteller.”
He is survived by sons Luke and Logan, ex-wife Kristi, girlfriend Annie, parents Carol and Bill, and brother Jason and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation of Canada would be appreciated.
