North American manufacturer of envelopes and paper-based packaging solutions Supremex has acquired exclusive rights to manufacture Conformer packaging products in Canada.

“We are very excited to take our relationship with Conformer Products to its next level,” says Stewart Emerson, President and CEO of Supremex.

The company operates 12 facilities across seven provinces in Canada and three facilities in the United States, employing approximately 830 people.

“We are a long-time licensee, have enjoyed significant growth over the last several years and have a strong symbiotic relationship with the Conformer team. We look forward to accelerating growth in e-commerce fulfillment packaging with this enhanced relationship,” Emerson adds.

Conformer Products is a New York–based company that has developed patented packaging that requires no assembly and no void fill, noting its heavy-duty mailers and corrugate mailers can ship small goods up to two inches thick.

“Our long-term collaboration with Supremex has been rewarded with steady, year-over-year growth,” says Bob Makofsky, Co-founder of Conformer Products. “The development of our heavy-duty mailers combined with Supremex laser focus on growing their product packaging business has been well timed. Granting Supremex an exclusive license to manufacture in Canada will support and encourage their aggressive growth objectives.”
