Sydney Stone announced plans to once again host a series of micro trade shows, called Equip 2014, across Canada, based primarily around the finishing technologies it distributes. The first event is scheduled to take place in Hamilton, Ontario, on March 6, and is to include over 20 pieces of finishing equipment.
In 2013, Sydney Stone introduced its Equip series and visited cities across Ontario, including Barrie, Cambridge, Ottawa, Hamilton and Oshawa. “We want to be as accessible as possible, for our customers to know that we want to be there for them,” said Sydney Stone Sales Director Michael Steele, after the second stop on the 2013 tour. “Not everyone has the time or the ability to travel to a trade show in a major city centre or visit the Sydney Stone show room in Toronto.”
The company demonstrated finishing equipment like the Watkiss Power Square 200 booklet maker and the Matrix 530 laminator, as well as the Gallery Wrap Framing System and Canvas Laminate, which gives paper prints the look and feel of canvas.
Equip Hamilton 2014 on March 6, taking place at the Courtyard Marriott, is to feature several new pieces of technology, including EBA paper cutters (2014 models), a range of Morgana creasing and folding equipment, Matrix Single sided laminators with integrated sheet separator, among other systems. Sydney Stone will also introduce its new Partner Points Program around supplies purchases.
