Xeikon today announced a new Canadian distribution partner in Canflexographics Ltd. of Burlington, Ontario, which is focused on the supply of flexographic equipment and peripherals.
Canflexographics is to distribute the Xeikon label and document printing presses as well as its entire line of ThermoFlexX imagers for flexo and letterpress plates. “Xeikon is an innovator in digital printing technology, and provides tested and proven solutions,” stated Kelly Roberts, President of Canflexographics. “The support and the open dialog we have received from the entire Xeikon team shows their desire to connect and educate all partners and clients.”
Headquartered in Belgium, Xeikon’s ThermoFlexX systems provide high-resolution plate exposure, including screening, colour management, as well as workflow management. The company develops web-fed colour presses for labels and packaging applications, document printing, as well as commercial printing. These presses utilize LED-array-based dry toner electrophotography, open workflow software and application-specific toners.
