HP, MoviĜo Robotics launch new mobile robot for the print industry

HP and MoviĜo Robotics launch their second autonomous mobile robot for the printing industry.
The Ŝharko5 Hammerhead is equipped with one custom sized fork and is designed to transport carts and trolleys of all sizes.
The new Ŝharko5HH is designed as a modular robot based on the MoviĜo Robotics platform technology. This platform allows Ŝharkos to be equipped with customized forks.
The Ŝharko5 Hammerhead can be deployed as part of the INDI solution, a system designed to communicate with HP Indigo presses and allow integration between press and robot.
“The Ŝharko5 Hammerhead fills the gap of moving materials across the production floor on other carriers than pallets, such as carts, trolleys and roll containers,” said Diego Diaz, global product manager, Autonomous Press and Robotics at HP Indigo.
