Gaudry Joins Huge Paper to Cover Ottawa East

January 10, 2018  By PrintAction

Nick Gaudry joins the management team at Huge Paper, one of Canada’s leading privately owned distributors of plastics and papers aimed at the digital printing market. The addition of Gaudry follows two key appointments last year by Huge as it continues an expansion into new territories and services.

In December 2017, Mark McCaw became Senior Digital Substrate Specialist for Huge Paper’s Dry Ink Performance division. In May 2017, Tom Dack was tapped to lead Huge’s expansion into southwestern Ontario, which is to service the area from Kitchener west along the highway 401 corridor to Windsor, and north to Sarnia.

Gaudry joins as Managing Partner for Huge’s newly created Ottawa East Region, which the company explains is based on a growing demand for digital printing products within region. This results in Huge’s investment to provide local delivery and support.

“I am incredibly pleased that Nick has accepted this important role within our organization,” said Jeff Tapping, founder and owner of Huge Paper. “I have a great deal of respect for what he has accomplished during his career in the graphic arts industry. I know Nick will be a tremendous asset to our organization and help guide it to new heights.”

Huge focuses on providing specialty substrates such as printable synthetics, magnetics, and papers exclusively engineered for HP Indigo, Xerox, and other high performance digital and wide-format presses.

“I am honoured and excited to be part of this respected organization,” said Gaudry. “There are tremendous opportunities for it to experience unprecedented growth. I know the passion Jeff has for this team and the company. I’m grateful for the confidence and trust he has placed in me. I can’t wait to get started.”
