In memory of Terry Hamilton: Donate to Canadian Print Scholarships

Last June, the Canadian printing industry was saddened by the loss of a long-serving and respected member of the community. Terry Hamilton was an industry leader in the Atlantic Region for nearly 25 years. Prior to that, Hamilton worked in Ontario where he achieved the position of vice-president at Canadian Fine Color.

“The industry was important to him and he was always prepared to give back by serving with many associations including PESDA, CPIA, Canadian Litho Club, Canadian Newspaper Association and the Atlantic Printing Industries Association,” said his son Jason Hamilton, director of digital print strategies & sales operations, NA, at Agfa.

“Terry understood that education was important to the industry and his family has kindly requested that donations in memory of him be made to Canadian Print Scholarships,” added Jeff Ekstein, chair of Canadian Print Scholarships.

Donations can be made online or by mail to Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund, 630 – 2 Campbell Drive, Uxbridge, ON, L9P 0A3.

The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enrol and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
