Best Deal Graphics and Printing, a trade printer located in Scarborough, Ont., has recently added a second Komori 40-inch press to its lineup of equipment. The 16,000 sheets-per-hour press is being installed by Komcan Inc. and is expected to be operational within the next week.

The LS640C comes loaded with plate changers and Komori’s productivity improvement software (KHS). It is also outfitted with automation features that will allow for “incredibly fast make-readies and greater throughput,” explains Komcan.

“We believe in creating more value for our customers. Our investment in the Komori LS640C is a perfect example of our ongoing commitment to doing just that,” says Benson Hong of Best Deal Graphics and Printing.

The system, along with Best Deal’s Komori GL640C that was newly installed last year, will allow Best Deal to increase production capacity and overall quality performance while reducing redundancy, Komcan notes.
