INX showcases sustainable inks at Graphics Canada

April 3, 2019  By PrintAction Staff

INX International Ink Co. (booth 5362) will display its entire product line, including INXhrc natural-based and Triangle brand digital inks, when it exhibits for the first time at Graphics Canada in Toronto.

“As North America’s third largest ink manufacturer, the majority of our Canadian customers have been using INX products for many years. However, we decided to exhibit at Graphics Canada 2019 for the printers who may not be aware of the complete commercial offset and digital offerings we have available, including some that are more sustainable and user-friendly,” said Renee Schouten, INX Director of Marketing.

INXhrc natural-based water, solvent and conventional offset inks are described as a safe alternative that reduces regulatory risk, while also improving production efficiencies for printers and converters. The company explains INXhrc contains no allergens, nanomaterials, flurochemicals, fanal pigments, heavy metals, latex or PTFE.

“Using clean, bio-renewable and sustainable ingredients, we have reduced CO2 emissions and annually replaced over two million pounds of petro-chemically derived resins, waxes and additives,” said Schouten.

Meanwhile, Triangle brand digital inks offer the utmost in quality and cost efficiency, INX explains, saying it has developed ink sets with fast drying times that offer a wide colour gamut and a high chemical resistance at a lower cost compared to OEM inks. Triangle inks are available in eco-friendly, bag-in-box packaging.
