Bob Kirk becomes the new Administrator of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund (CPISTF) program. Kirk currently serves as General Manager of the Printing Equipment and Supply Dealers’ Association (PESDA).
Prior to joining the PESDA organization, Kirk developed a long management career with Kodak Canada. In new his administration role, Kirk will report to CPISTF’s Board of Trustees, which is directly responsible for awarding scholarships.
The most-recent CPISTF board, which awarded $75,000 in scholarship funding to 57 Canadian students back in September 2012, included: Warren Wilkins (Past Chairman); Wayne Burroughs (Treasurer); Richard Armstrong, Heidelberg Canada; Jeff Taylor, Hemlock Printers; Michael Hill; Mary Black, Mary Black Recruiting; Bruce Bond; Bob Cockerill, Schawk Canada; Tom Blockberger; Sean Murray, Advocate Printing and Publishing Co.; Ron Schroder, Canadian Flexographic Training Committee; and Willy Wilkins.
CPISTF, founded in 1971, is designed to provide financial assistance to promising students enrolled in approved graphic arts management or technical education programs.
