Label Link moves into digital labels with Truepress Jet 350UV+

August 26, 2018  By PrintAction Staff

Cape Town’s Label Link has invested in a Screen UV inkjet label press. Sold through Rotocon, the sale also includes a Rotocon Ecoline RDF 340 machine for digital label converting and finishing.

The Screen Truepress Jet L350UV+ leverages inkjet-head technology for “outstanding” quality and throughput. For richer reproduction of colours, Label Link has invested in the newly supported orange ink, an option along with its standard CMYK and white inks for colour functionality.

Rotocon service technicians will install, train and provide after-sales service on both new machines purchased by Label Link.

“Our decision was primarily based on print quality, machine up-time, and print speed,” says Wiaan Stemmet, Label Link’s managing member. “Also very important, especially with our entry into digital label production, was local support through Rotocon’s fully-trained service technicians for both Screen and Rotocon equipment investments. Rotocon has already proven stellar service from the installation and training of our E+L Nyscan 100% inspection camera system, also purchased through Rotocon.”

Occupying five units in an industrial park in Brackenfell, Label Link is a wholesale label printer since 2003 and manufactures purely for resellers.
