Les Impressions Lithosol of Laval, Quebec, has installed an Agfa Avalon N4-10S computer-to-plate system, as well as Agfa’s :Apogee Manage software to manage the company’s prepress workflow.
The company, founded in 1989, will continue to focus on progressive environmental print production by running Azura TS plates through its new Avalon N4 system. Les Impressions Lithosol has been FSC-certified for the past two years.
The Avalon N4-10S, which is the faster system relative to the N4-10E, can image up to 21 4-up plates per hour. Lithosol also focuses on frequency-modulated screening: producing 15-micrometre work on coated paper and 25-micrometre work on offset paper.
