Mackenzie Printery Museum Holds Golf Tournament

September 18, 2012  By

The Mackenzie Newspaper and Printery Museum of Niagara Falls, Ontario, held its seventh annual golf tournament last week. More than 50 people showed their support through a best-ball tournament at the Whirlpool Golf Course, under sunny skies and mild temperatures.
The team consisting of Jay Fleming, Chris Petis, Scott Nicholl (all three of Advanced Office Solutions), and Lou Gagnon (of Xerox Canada) was victorious with a score of 11 under par.
The Mackenzie Newspaper and Printery Museum is an institution located in the restored home of publisher William Lyon Mackenzie and shows off 500 years of printing technology within its period print shop. It is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization aimed at passing along print’s history in Canada to a new generation.
